Formed in May 2024 in Los Angeles and founded on the ideal of inclusivity through unique artistry in entertainment. We believe stories are only as compelling as the conviction of the teams that bring them to life. The cofounders named the company after the protaganist in their first narrative collaboration ILLUMINATED.
Our Mission
An artist and a writer, fed up with the corporate assimilation of entertainment, launched Solana Productions with no more of a plan than to make a film they could be proud of. After a combined seventeen years ruining their posture in cubicles, the two just wanted to feel creatively alive again.
That singular wish lead them, and now you, here. That wish has become a goal, and a plan. A plan to take part in the revolution of independent media burning the industry. Creating entertainment is now ubiquitous and not reliant on frameworks designed to increase stock value. Voices buried before can now be heard, stories can better reach those formerly unseen, and unbalanced systems can be changed because the consumer is now the artist.
This company is for those artists. For the multi-hyphenate creator-consumer-advocate-artist. This company is for the lonely, for the voiceless, and the stories that demand your attention, your action, and kindness.
